Thomas Palance, trumpet

Tom received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the University of New Hampshire and has a Masters degree in performance from The Catholic University in Washington, DC. He performed as assistant principle and soloist with the premier Navy Concert band in Washington, DC. and also solo trumpet with the Navy Commodores Jazz Band at the White House and Kennedy Center. Tom has performed for five US presidents and other prestigious events while in Washington, DC. In May of 2005 Tom premiered “Trio for Trumpet, Piano and Percussion” by Matt Rinker at George Mason University and continues to premier and perform classical solo trumpet works. Tom has been a clinician with Besson trumpets and now is with Yamaha Musical Instruments, guest conducting and performing at numerous festivals and educational clinics.
