Alyssa Coffey, French horn

Alyssa is a freelancer and teacher in the Boston area. She performs broadway shows in New England and over the last three years she enjoyed touring the U.S. and Canada with the broadway favorite, Les Miserables. In addition to performing with the New England Brass, she has performed with symphony orchestras in New England, West Virginia, Georgia, and Ohio. In Boston she has performed with the Chameleon Arts Ensemble, Opera Boston, Boston Ballet, Boston Pro Arte Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Boston Philharmonic. Elsewhere, she has been heard with the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Philarmonic, Albany Symphony, Nashua Symphony, Glimmerglass Opera Company, Opera North, National Lyric Opera, Berkshire Opera Company and many other ensembles. She received a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
